When you book a Vedic Pooja, Mangal Dosh Nivaran, Kaal Sarp Shanti, or Rudrabhishek, we collect specific ritual details required by Vedic Agamas:

• Devotee & Family Gotra (Lineage / Clan)
• Full Names & Relations of participating family members
• Nakshatra, Rashi, and Date of Birth (for planetary alignment & Muhurat calculation)
• Specific Sankalp Wish / Prayer Focus (e.g., health, career obstacles, matrimonial harmony)

2 Personal Contact & Prasad Delivery Data

To facilitate smooth services, we collect:

• Full Name and Title
• WhatsApp / Mobile Phone Number: Used to share live streaming links, ritual photos/videos, pooja slot confirmation, and courier dispatch updates.
• Email Address: For digital receipts, booking confirmations, and authentication to your Devotee Dashboard.
• Postal Delivery Address with Pincode: For secure courier dispatch of consecrated Holy Prasad, energized Rudraksha malas, and Yantras.

3 Payment Security & Zero Financial Data Storage

All financial transactions on Mahakal Tattva are processed through encrypted, RBI-licensed, PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateways (supporting UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Cards, and Wallets).

4 Video Proof & Darshan Recording Privacy

For devotees booking remote poojas, our team records video proof of the Pandit reciting your Sankalp (naming you and your Gotra) and performing the ritual.

• Direct Private Sharing: Video recordings and photos are shared directly with you via private WhatsApp or your secure Devotee Dashboard.
• No Public Broadcast: We do not publish your private Gotra Sankalp videos on social media (YouTube, Instagram) without your explicit written consent.
• Retention Period: Ritual proof videos are retained on our secure cloud storage for 30 calendar days so you can download and preserve them, after which they are archived or securely purged.

5 Cookies & Website Security

We use standard, lightweight session cookies to maintain your shopping cart, authenticate your Devotee Dashboard login, and preserve security against automated bot attacks. You can choose to disable cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may prevent you from logging into your dashboard or completing checkout.

6 Your Rights under DPDPA 2023

Under Indian privacy laws, every devotee holds full sovereignty over their personal data:

• Right to Rectification: You can update your phone, address, or name at any time prior to ritual dispatch.
